I ran a record label while studying management, dodged corporate life by working in sales for a London dotcom. Survived. Moved to Stockholm and spent 3 years on the rough frontline of selling sponsorship on business events. Back in the UK I flirted with sales management, training and coaching sales reps, though missed selling so much that moved back and became an outsourced sales rep for Win Consulting. With a decade in sales for various organisations, I am also an occasional contributor to business magazines like Winning Edge, the magazine of the Institution of Sales and Marketing Management. I run SalesItch because I love sales, I love to write and I want to meet like minded people and join the conversation. I’m not trying to sell training or consulting with this blog, so you can be assured an independent, critical view.
